During an especially stressful period of time, Kelli turned to candle making as a creative outlet.  Kelli started experimenting with fragrances in her own kitchen and spent every day making candles until she had perfected the recipe and was convinced she made the best smelling candles ever!  After gifting her candles to friends and family (including Squeezable Wax Melts!), Kelli knew she had something special. She sat down at her dining room table and began to dream about what the future could look like. She talked it over with her family (her husband of 23 years and best friend as well as partner in crime, their two daughters, their son, and don't forget their fur babies; two dogs and three cats, and they were all in.) In early 2024, Kelli and her family took a leap of faith and started Sierra Vista Candle Company with just an idea, a business plan, and $600 worth of candle-making supplies.
